It feels like it's been ages since we put some new music out, and since we're hard at work on album 2, we wanted to give everyone a taste of what to expect. So here it is - the first single from the second Fightmilk album, a song about emotional labour and rockets.

You said one day you’d fly me to the moon
These days you just make sad songs in your room
It started out as a golden opportunity
But moonwalking isn’t what it used to be

Watching Interstellar didn’t make it better
Reading Carl Sagan, looking kind of vacant
You say you’re buying time but you’re always late
I’m starting to think you don’t even want to go to space

You’re saying your spacesuit feels too tight
You’re saying suddenly you’re afraid of heights
You’re acting up when we’re down at the station
Worrying about the background radiation
